Join the Port Chalmers & District Lions Club at the Lady Thorn Rhododendron Dell in the old historical blue stone quarry overlooking the seaport of Port Chalmers, a 15 minute drive down the beautiful Otago Harbour.

The local Lions Club has been involved over the last 10 years in developing the Dell, which is in memory of the Late Lady Thorn, a former Mayoress of the town, and they have received several awards to date for their efforts.

At the Dell enjoy the various sale stalls of garden art, craft and plants. The Lions BBQ will be operating, serving their renowned seafood chowder. Join them for lunch while being entertained by live music.

Enjoy the ambience and the rhododendrons while they are at their best.
