In October, The Artist's Room Fine Art Gallery opens two new shows.

The first 'DUNEDIN' a group show featuring a variety of invited New Zealand artists with their take on the city. Artists include Don McAra, Steev Peyroux, Olav Nielsen, Geoff Williams, Sam Foley, Marilynn Webb, Sheryl McCammon, Catherine Garrett and many others.

In the other show, NZ's natural forms, textures and culture brings West Coast artist Allan Batt together for another joint showing of new works with Tuakau artist Jane Crisp. Both artists portray refined, realistic paintings of native New Zealand - Flora and Fauna. The artists' deep love of the environment has inspired their works for many years. From Batt's architectural flora in all its diversity and colour to the close up detail of Crisp's birdlife - both artists manage to capture a sense of tranquillity and beauty, in essence 'a natural and unspoiled New Zealand'.
